Today has been a lesson in credibility, here's some rules about credibility to help in the future
Rules of credibility
1) Reputation - Reputation is key when you want to discuss something to a community, being a no name can mean that people will be open to you and it falls upon the other rules if they believe you, but in most cases if you're known for putting a particular segment of your audience/things they like down they won't listen, on the other end if you have good rep they'll be much more willing.
2) Content - Does it sound like you know what you're talking about? If not then people can and will call you on it. Do you give examples? Do they lead up to your overall thoughts on the experience and support it? If not then you must provide the content to support those ideas.
3) Tone - If your tone is abrasive or overly negative people become less likely to listen to you, people don't respond well to negativity unless they are also a like minded hater, then we refer to "haters gonna hate", being calm and collected will help your cause.
4) Proper English - Believe it or not speaking in proper English helps a lot, it shows you put effort into your thoughts, you're intelligent, and someone worthy of a few moments of someone else's time.
As a side note Reputation goes up and down depending on the other rules and if you follow them to a T or not.
