I personally love those type of blogs, it's almost in the same level of "A friend of mine was told by his friend that someone he knows told him that..."

Defamation via the internet, one of the most cowardly and fake-prone tools of the modern day.

Any1 here plays Heroes of newerth?

I've been playing dota ever since it was version was 6.19 then transfered to Heroes of newerth.

can't wait to see what DOTA2 brings into the table(besides better graphics)

nah, I was never good at dota so I picked the more noob friendly (and from what I have read more friendly in general), not to mention free 2 play League of legends...

cool, ppl say League of legends is a dota imitation much like Heroes of newerth but my friend told me its far from being like dota he says it plays quite different so I didn't bother trying cause I love DOTA gameplay.

your friend lied lol, it has the same gameplay as DotA just with new heroes rather than just the ones from dota like HoN, and a few tweaks like no denying creepstowers and the hero enhancing rune system and global passive skill trees oh and "summoner spells". But at it's core it's still dota you control one hero with 4 level-able skills three 9 tire and one "ultimate" 3 teir skill, still kill waves of minions and groups of creeps, including one supper creep known as "Barron", you still buy items that can be combined into more powerful items, but the system has been streamlined. all in all it's more DotA than not and the additions they do make fit nicely into the style. It's familiar yet fresh...

I was on the HON Beta and did a couple of months in the full version. Quite frankly it didn't captivate me as DoTA has. I still play DoTA frequently on GARENA nowadays, mainly because it's constant updates are bringing more and more balance to it. 

I'm eager to see what Valve does with DoTA, I'll be happy as long as they don't screw up with Nevermore XD
