is Wii Party available with out the Wii Remote?

I'd like to know this as well...

I already have four WiiMotes.

Well, if you're in the US, that's no problem, in the US it's not bundled with a wiimote...

Well, that solves that problem doesn't it?

(Thanks!)

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong!!!  I live in the US and I bought it bundled for $70.  You can buy it unbundled for $50.  Get your facts right before you give someone false info.

Well, that's news to me, but still, with the same result - I believe that when told about being sold with the Wiimote, people think Wii Play (game and WIimote for $50). Since that isn't the case, there is no "problem" for people with 4 wiimotes.

So in America you can buy it without the remote? I hope they release it unbundled in Europe as well, or bundled with Wiimote Plus instead.

But I really wish it came with Plus already. That and FlingSmash would've been an easy way to get two Pluses...

They could just unbundle the remote and make the price lower.

Either way, Wii Party is a game worth owning with or without a bonus remote.

Yea, that is what I thought too.  I went in expecting bundled version to be around 50-60 dollars.  When I saw the $70 price tag, I was a little shocked.  I only had 3 remotes so I went ahead and just bought the bundled version.  While it offers a lot more than Wii Play it still shocked me being bundled more than $60.

Both Amazon and Gamestop don't have a bundled version. Between that and all the news reports mentioning only a European version, I was confident that the US didn't have one. Following what you said I did a bit of searching, and found this: "It took a while to track down, but I found a Wal-Mart that was selling the Wii Party bundle that comes with a Wii Remote for $69.99.  This bundle is only available at select Wal-Mart locations." - source

My head hurts reading this.  What about it doesn't support Wii Motion Plus don't you understand?

I suppose that you want a Vitality Sensor packed in with the game too.

If the game came packed with three hot chicks I would be very happy!

But yes, I do understand that it doesn't support WMP and I still think it would had been a great way to sell both the new controller and the game! If Nintendo wants this new one to become the standard controller, that is.

Also, "You get the new ultraslick Wiimote Plus controller!" sounds much better than "You get the ordinary controller!".
