Forums - Sony Discussion - selling my ps3, what would be a fair price?

so, as the title says, im selling my ps3. im thinking its 60 or 80gigs, it does not have backwards compatibility. im including final fantasy 13 and valkyra chronicals(already sold the other games).

what do you think is a fair price for it?

idk just take you're @ss to gamestop and find out =

gamestop here wont give me cash. and i dont want store credit.

the local nongamestop store wont take it at all because they are overstocked.

Check craigslist?  I'd say $150-$200 tops

Unicorns ARE real - They are just fat, grey and called Rhinos

It is an older model that has no BC, that hurts the value a lot.

you can put in Ebay... and search for average sell price, but that's just ebay... and is often inaccurate and also depends on your previous feedback.

I'd recommend selling the games separately unless you want to do less work. If you sell it as a package those are games the buyer may or may not want.

yeah,i guess ill throw it out at 200 hundred and see if i get a nibble. if i dont i guess ill try 150. its also 3.41 firmware for what thats worth.

It sucks when you have consoles with many different models. It hurts the resale value....(consumer side)

the value of gaming stuff as a whole seems to have hit the skids. i remember when you could trade in pc games at gamestop and get cash. and when taking the shrink wrap of a new game didnt halve the value.

$600!!
