As in GT3 Numbers for EMEAA aka 5 Mil. That's not exactly out of the question.

But I do agree that GT5 will not sell 10 Mil lifetime and around 7-8Mil is plausible.

Hmm.. this is very interesting. I think it can easily sell 5mil EMEAA although the install base of the PS2 during GT4 was a lot higher then than the install base for PS3 is now.

Those interested in GT5 who already have a PS3 bought GT5 : Prologue = 2.19 Million

Online downloads of GT5P = 1 million (a guess)

Those interested in GT5 but do not have a PS3 = 2 million (another guess)

Therefor IMO I think GT5 will sell around 5 million in EMEAA.

So less than GT3 but more than GT2. 

5 million in Europe/other-not quite the 6.5 of the highest selling.

1 million in japan

2.5 in america

assuming its not super heavily bundled, it is unlikely to cross 10 million but will come very close.  could happened though.

In the unlikely event that america hits 3 million, japan hits 1.5 and europe exceeds 6 million. then i will b super happy.

It will do fine. The loom and gloom talk for Gran Turismo is almost unjustified. Quite understandable when you look at current numbers and go,''WOW, its not going to happen.'' But GT games always sold because of its legs and I wouldn't be surprised if GT5 did the exact same thing. I expect it to break the 10 million barrier for the PS3 and hopefully shoot up their with exclusives like COD and Halo.

Nah. People like to think that userbase doesn't matter but when we're talking 6 million plus in one region then it starts to factor in. I think it'll top out at about 5.

i hope so but since sony is fucking up its launch and confuseing the hell out of people it might not happen
