Get Super Metroid, although Mario 64 is also a good option. Wait till the 3DS is released to play the remake of Ocarina of Time.

Why didn't anyone tell me that the UK version of Super Metroid contains French/German text? Also isn't that a bit tedious that you cannot remove that text?

Well, it didn't cross my mind to tell you, because it never bothered me that much. There's almost zero text after the beginning.
