There is less than a month until launch. There is a bundle in japan and Europe but why not NA? I know GT5 may not be as popular here but it will still move consoles. Why did sony decide not to do this?
They like to do bad decisions.

My only guess is that would cost Sony a loss on the bundle and people will buy GT5 regardless. THough a GT5 bundle with a blue PS3 like Japan, hell I'll trade my PS3 in for it.
Maybe they're planning a different bundle with a game that would be more popular among North American gamers???
I don't know, it is a bit odd because you'd think they'd want to maximize sales of their flagship franchise...
it will be bundled at some point in the holidays, definitly black friday.

They aren't even putting out special editions in NA.
Sony isn't doing much to get people excited about it.
Halo Reach got the full treatment in Japan and we know how it sells there. Go figure.

They make more money on Eu and JP hardware when you look at the exchange rate. US has the smallest profit margin already. A bundle will only lower it further. This game will likely out sell all their other 1st party games. Makes sense to want to get the most out of it.

This, the value of the dollar is very low and probably doesn't give $ony much profit on the bundles.
