A WRPG for Sonic... This won't work well.
I'm not waiting for this at all, and I'm not expecting anything from it.
But Sonic had more success in western countries, so that at least makes sense.

Alex calm down mate, its made by BioWare so it will probably be good and if you remember Mario RPG you will see that this isnt all bad.

I agree with Rath. Bioware is a great developer so there is hope for a good/great Sonic RPG.

the person who said Sonic Rivals was good deserves shooting. I actually like knuckles, its always been him, sonic and tails that were great to me.

Sonic on the DS=instant win. Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure are awesome.

Also, Secret Rings was pretty good too. The Rivals games were decent, and Mario and Sonic is fun.

Sonic games haven't been all that bad lately. Sonic the Hedgehog and Shadow the Hedgehog sucked monkey ass, but that's no reason to punish the other games in the series.

Maybe in your opinion, but the Universal opinion is different. According to Game Rankings, Secret Rings, and Mario & Sonic, both suck, for they both got less than 70%. Blinx the Timesweeper on the Xbox did better than those two games. They have "all" been bad. All! Except for Sonic Rush on the DS. It was pretty good. I don't know about Sonic Rush Adventure, though... But none of them can match the Sonic games on the Sega systems, especially the Genesis, Sega CD, and Dreamcast. Even Bioware can't make Sonic good. Sonic died a long time ago.

Hrm, correct me if im wrong but doesnt M&S:Olympics score similar to WiiSports? I love M&S, have so much fun with the mates with it, like we do with Sports. Oh and Shadow is an awful, awful character, Never should have been created.

@alex:
Actually, Bioware could make Sonic good, if they did it right. Quit trolling, you're too much a negative person. Every thread you make tends to be about Crash dying or Sonic dying or Spyro or whatever.

Also, who voted Shadow as a popular character?  I've never liked him.  I would like a Sonic game with just Sonic and Tails and perhaps Knuckles as main characters.

That's all the 'tude I can handle.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Don't know why you're so upset, I think it might be fun. I'd rather have a Sonic game with some new ideas in it than another Sonic Rush.

Currently playing: NSMB (Wii)

Waiting for: Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii), The Last Story (Wii), Golden Sun (DS), Portal 2 (Wii? or OSX), Metroid: Other M (Wii),
... and of course Zelda (Wii)

once again you're months late to the party.

Hey Sony's making a Dual Shock 3!

By the way, Bioware kicks arse and any game they make will be fantastic. Be thankful that they are taking their time to make Sonic good again =)

Help! I'm stuck in a forum signature!

You don't even know what you're talking about do you? M&S has 70.6% at GR.com which (considering the genre) is quite good.

M&S Score

Also, Sonic and the Secret Rings has 71.3% which is also pretty good when you take into account that Sega's been going downhill for the last couple of years.

Sonic and the Secret Rings score

Also Sonic Rush has 83% and Sonic Rush Adventure has 80%. Are all those scored bad? What are you talking about? Just because Sonic Riders was mediocre at best doesn't mean that all Sonic games are bad.

Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure scores

Also, if anyone can save Sonic's reputation that's gonna be BioWare.

Seriously Bioware is an incredible developer by any standard. If you have never played their games, that's your problem, but everyone who has is rightfully excited for what they may be able to do for the Sonic franchise.
