If you call fail, you are fail and that is all there is to it. Mark Rein has a hell of a lot more credibility than any of you.

Since then believing something give you a credibility in it?

"We don't have a 3DS, so there's no way for us to verify that, but everything we've been led to believe". Pathetic.

He's just trolling and making PR for his product. It's no suprise actually, and not suprisingly at all that HD fans like you jumped into this thread eager to "educate" us about product that you won't buy anyway. It's not so subtle that you give as much credibility to your opinion on 3DS as to Mark Rein trolling on this occasion.

P.S. Honestly I couldn't care less about Epic products appearing on 3DS, I'm tired of generic slowpoke shooters anyways. And those guys destroyed UT long time ago.

No. Anyway UE3 is very texture heavy and it wouldn't surprise me if the 64MB IIRC on the 3DS is simply too small to accomodate the engine in that respect, especially as it would have been designed for platforms with 8* the memory or greater.

Its the people blowing up and acting all upset are making PR for his product. Me? Im just waiting for the potatoes to cook.

How about we're wating for companies to just stop making up bullshit. Either work with Nintendo or be honest that you don't want to.

UE3 works with less than 64 MB of system RAM.  Can't say I know of any game engine that has such a RAM requirement. RAM dependancies are more game specific.

Never mind that fact that data can be streamed from the cart making total RAM far less relavent than a system with optical media.

Also, I've also already clarified why Rein downplayed the 3DS so I don't understand why are still carrying on.

Seriously people, grow up.

LOL, how can anybody make that kind of statements if they dont even have the hardware?...

That is a fail from every angle you see it...

Epic not wanting to want on a Nintendo platform?

Man so many Nintendo fans are butt hurt with Marks comments, but lets be serious here, It's Nintendo, there philosophy isn't graphics, all you Nintendo fan know this and most of you defended the wii claiming it was about the gameplay and innovative controller, which is fair enough seeing as that's what Nintendo philosophy is, but what I don't get is why most of you Nintendo fans are hurt by the comments from Mark. We all know the 3DS is underpowered, it has to be in order to have decent battery life, when I say underpowered I mean underpowered relative to other portable devices out there like Smart phones and such, however this does not mean the 3DS won't be capable of what Nintendo advertised.

Personally I don't care about 3D, and to be honest I would have preferred that all the systems performance go to making 3D games on a 2D screen, but I have a feeling that the reason Nintendo HAD to add the 3D screen, was to hook the casuals in...the casuals won't pick up a DS 2 as they would perceive it to be the same as the DS, but add 3D and now you have the casuals interest, the same thing happened with the TV market, it was stalling so manufacturers through in 3D as the hook to sell more TV's, and it worked...it worked despite the current 3D tech just being a stop gap measure before the more refined 3D tech is cheap enough to hit the market, and yes thats the glassless 3D TV's.

In anycase, this has been blown out of proportion as usual by the rabid fanboys.

I don't believe hes talking about UE3. Anyway like for likeness all mobile platforms are running off of Flash anyway.

Tease.

So even their Wii reason are suspect, since games on there have shown the system can be texture heavy.

So, a company that has shown no interest in supporting Nintendo systems for years continues to show no interest in supporting Nintendo systems while pretty much every other developer worth a damn is jumping on board.

I quite possibly couldn't care less and even if I could care less it wouldn't be by much.

Uhm, right now the specs seem to be around the original iPhone from what we've seen (with the leak), and based on that, he's decision is totally fine.

So yeah, it's still speculation at this point, but with everything we've seen, it's well reasoned speculation.
