Its true from what I have read / figured out for myself. Its not like it is unexpected really, it is Nintendo afterall.

The Iphone is very powerful, I haven't used the 3DS yet, but please don't underestimate the Iphone.

He obviously has no interest in it (shocking, I know :P). Shame really, it's quite a powerful piece of hardware as has already been shown by the demos, like the Resident Evil one:
