Yes I know it's sad that LBP2 and DC Online aren't coming out this year but it seems everyone would rather focus on the missing games and over look the ones coming out.

That game that everyone thought would NEVER come out and critics used to use to have a field day against the Delaystation 3? But now seems to be set in stone and eventhough it's not out yet, Fans and Fanboys alike are calling it a contender for the Game of Forever because of its share content alone. Over 1000 cars, a plethora of modes and extras, I'm not sure about you but I don't think I'll be able to finish this game in the space of a year let alone the one week that the so called "Fans of gaming" seem to think they need to complete it.

Maybe it's just me but I hate it when games these days fail to even reach the 6hr mark in single player gameplay what annoys me more is people now have the ordacity to complain that 20hrs of gameplay...is too much-

I'm not sure about you, but I refuse to pay £40/$60 for a game that will only last me a weekend, if I'm shelling out the full asking price for a game, I need to know I'm getting my money's worth, i need to know I am getting the best out of my game of choice not just some slap dashed, thrown together two bit glitchfest that you then have to pay extra for additional DLC just because you want to add additional life to your game.

GT5 is esscentially the pinnacle of "bang for your bucks" and in my opinion, if you only own a ps3 and you like racing, this is the only game you will need this 1/4.

But what if you don't like Racing and GT5 isn't your thing? How about First Person Shooters?

What...? This doesn't count as a ps3 game coming out this Christmas season? Why? Because it's on the 360 as well? That makes it a game not worth having? Contrary to popular belief, Call of Duty is not a 360 exclusive franchise, it's also on the PS3 and it's also coming out on the PS3, therefore it counts! I make no secrets about my dislike for FPS games but I'm not stupid enough to ignore the popularity and the quality that others supposedly see in it. Regardless of what you might think, as well as filling in the bang for your bucks quota, this game counts as a ps3 holiday release.

I might argue so does Pro Evolution 2011...what? I realise that the fans of pro evo on here can be counted in one hand...on a good day (to a lesser extent, the fans of FIFA as well) but as far as I'm concerned, this game falls under the category of "Game that just keeps giving" if you're a fan of Pro Evo/Fifa games, you would know exactly what I mean.

Sure these games are Multies but they are coming on the PS3, why does a game have to be exclusive to be considered "interesting" or "good". I've noticed a particular trend with certain posters on here, the moment a game is announced for their console of choice, the ride it as if it's the best game ever and the moment it's announced else where, they instantly drop it like an unwanted step child.

A game is a game is a game, rather than getting turned on by its exclusivity, why not just play and enjoy the damn thing?

If you look back at the list of games I've named already, you will notice what a majority of them have in common Sequels.

It pains me to see that new, original games are being brushed aside because people don't know anything about them so rather than trying it out, they ignore it for a sequel that sometimes offers nothing new to the table, instead changes a 10 to an 11 and that's it but people still buy it in their droves...why not try something new?

These are just 2 gems released in the past year, whilst you might have played these 2, I refuse to believe you played every single game that came out the past 365hours, let alone the past 365 days, so instead of moaning there are no games, go start digging.

Note: I haven't even mentioned the PSN yet, both past and present titles.

I was gonna mention NFS but it completely slipped my mind at the last minute and I left out PoP because not all regions will have access to it by the sounds of things.

multiplat games don't count in list wars....so the only game coming to the ps3 is GT.  Sony fails at the holidays.

Crap!! I knew I was forgeting another move game, the Sly series but my mind was starting to melt when I got to that section, too many games to remember.

I was deliberately trying to avoid making this another "exclusive" list as a point I made in that...I guess you can call it a rant is that "a game doesn't need to be exclusive to get attention.

The funny thing is GT5 alone is bigger than any holiday lineup the playstation 3 has had, commercially speaking.

I'm sad about LBP being delayed, but that's probably for the best, since after playing the Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, I have yet another game I must buy. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II being the others. 

Yeah exclusive wise PS3 is lacking this holiday period, but will recover in 2011. But i guess the multiplats are really good games so you cant really count them off can you?
