Forums - Gaming - Why don't they make more games like this?

Voice commanded games! , this is a cool idea that you be the one on radio instead of the other way around, it worked okay-ish back then, but now with better tech it will work even better, so why doesn't anyone make a game like this? what happened to Eyedentity?

Actually, there's a game called Seaman on the Dreamcast, that was made in 2000. Check it out.

i dont think so, unless Microsoft is throwing a load of money

because a small texas company owns the patent for voice control in interactive media (games)

they recently sued Sony, Ubisoft and Disney for using it.

Dont know what happened but there hasn't been a voice control game since, Socom4 isn't going to have voice control and there is Zero chance of an Endwar 2 now. 

So either Microsoft is paying the company for it use, or its not for games but for User interface on the menu screen.

they won that lawsuit, google it, its the reason i made this thread talking about it in another thread.
