I am looking at getting a Japanese 360 for some cool import games plus re-buying of lost Odyssey and some other games

sorry if i don't answer your question with another question, but is the 360 really region locked? i have a europe version of Lost Odyssey and it works on my US xbox 360 perfectly, and probably all of my games work on my friend's UK Console.

Depends on game. Some are region locked, some are region free. Lost Odyssey is RF.

Play Asia is probably your best bet. You could also find someone to mod your current 360 so that it plays region free games, but I'd check what the repercussions are before doing that. Enjoy your Japanese 360 in all it's otaku glory.

thanks for the response and Sorry I forgot to say but I sold my old 360 because of a lack of games that I wonted that are not from Japan but the new 360s are much better then the old ones so I was thinking about getting one again.  

Kinda weird to go out and buy another 360 just for a few games.

I know it is sad that most Japanese XBOX 360 Games are reign locked.
