And people claim that the hardcore Nintendo gamer is the one that ignores 3rd parties. Even aside from the fact that a third-party game is in the top spot, there are only 6 (six!) Nintendo-made titles on that list.

You better try this game more, after the first 10ish hours it rules and is awesome, if you play more and go online I'll play with ya

4 hours? Really? You need to play it more, it's awesome :)

ANYWAY...congrats! Though it's not a major thing, it's been like this for ages in the UK. Now it's number 1 EVERYWHERE! MWAHAHAHA!...

For those people who say time =/=love, tri playing this game. You'll understand you ned to love it to devote that amount of time to it...

I'm so happy to see Rune Factory Frontier up there.

It's actually my two most played games on the Wii - RFF, and over 400 hours of MH3.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

I wish things like region covered were not specified in the bit at the bottom no-one reads.... and unless they collected for Mexico and Canada and averaged them out I don't think this is quite representative of N.America anyway (I think it is likely it's just U.S.A.... even though until the last paragraph you could be forgiven for thinking it mean the world)

Anyhow, interesting to see the graph of how things are moving.

Those numbers are inflated for sure. The Wii's "time played" counter doesn't stop when you hit the home button to pause. And I'm sure many of us do that or even just let the game run when we take breaks. That's why my No More Heroes and Muramasa play time on Nintendo Channel (or whatever is called) is recorded as 40 plus hours (when really I played about 30-35 of NMH across 3 playthroughs and 35 for Muramasa).
