It wouldn't surprise me though if it's some kind of casual endeavour(s) or really niche games like SpyBorgs, Tatsunoko, etc. He doesn't seem too happy with the question thus he saying he's still factually correct, but it may not be what we expect from them. |
Yah I noticed, I just like to be optimistic. If I had to guess seriously, I would say Tatsunoko 2 and some Wiiware game OR the game they're doing with level 5 whatever that is.

Rival Schools would make my world explode in happiness. Hell, I'd settle for a release of Project Justice on any of the current, or future consoles.

Damn it, truth is out, I'm not a real gamer :( I hope you're happy, I'm gonna go cry into my pillow now.
So its not a big franchise, and not a resurrection of an old one, because that what most people want. It might be a spin off, a casual game, a compilation, or a new franchise, those are the things that people are NOT "specifically looking for".
So he's saying no without actually using the word "no", which goes against a previous statement and would make him (or whomever said the first statement) a liar.
His quote means the following:
a) Capcom recognizes that there are people asking for Wii games from Capcom.
b) Capcom knows that those people are looking for specific games and/or genres.
c) Capcom is making Wii games, which satify a.
d) Those games are probably not going to satisfy b.
The people who were asking are the ones looking for an answer, and now he has to backtrack because the original answer (that there are Wii games in development) was not meant for the people asking the question; the answer they should've heard was "no", as in "there are games, but nothing for you", instead of "yes", as in "there are games for you".
Public Relations is all about connecting with the audience and understanding it, and when answering questions, it's not good enough to understand the questions, but to understand the real questions behind the literal questions.
