on the other hand Wii 1st party > PS3,PSP and XBOX360 1st party combined and Wii beats the HD consoles in total software sales, Wii is only weak when we compare 3rd party sales, which is understandable considering how "amazing" Wii 3rd party support has been over the years.

I'm surprised at how small the first party is for the PSP and PS3.

Vgchartz has HD twins and Wii pretty spot on but especially with PSP there is pretty big difference. Vgchartz has total software for PSP in Japan 41 million and this chart has 50 million. There is also couple million difference with DS.

So, in spite of the fact that third party games are very infrequent on Wii in Japan, Wii has actually sold nearly as much third party software as PS3.

19m vs 13m, I wouldn't call that "nearly as much" , it's like a 30% difference.
