A case where using prolog sales misguides you. Normally a lot of people would have waited for the main game, and completely bypassed the prolog, given the space of release between the two is normally less than a year (smaller than that sometimes), given the numerous delays a lot of people will have picked it up fed up waiting for the main game, or simply because it was the only choice.

GT5P sales are good and indication the series is well and truly alive, basing any predictions (like saying only 1.8 more) will getyou nowhere to making a realistic prediction.

That's not true, why is Reach so popular when you had a HALO GAME JUST LAST YEAR?

We have doubt about GT games because the genre doesn't seem popular anyway, If this game ends up selling 10 million, I woulds be very impressed.

OMG!! DK, KIrby, and Epic mickey :D :D :D

GT5 though makes me kinda sad :( i want it to be get a grip already!!

And btw, just dance 2 just got the third largest increase just after the black ops... I knew it would be big, ut could it be the game that saves the Wii O_o It might be the best selling 3rd party game on the wii(yes u heard me), the record holds for MH3 at around 750k (deservedly)

You have got to accept, GT5 doing 3K more in weekly pre-orders compared to Forza 3 in the same weeks up to launch isn't how I had dreamed GT5 would be launching in NA.

Then again this series has legs so I am not really worried....it'll just be less front loaded

DK is charting similar to NSMB, and both kirby adn epic mickey arent really huuuge. Epic mickey being a 3rd party on the wii with 60k preorders and 8 weeks left is good imo! Kirby doesnt look like a game that tends to be preordered, and isnt even big! so 45k'sh with a couple of weeks is good in my book!! 

GT5 on the other hadn doesnt look like it's picking steam, and PS3 games usually tend to be heavily preordered unlike wii games!! Im sad that NA isnt showing enough love :( at least yet!

GT5 with a slight increase from last week ! I think it may have around 425 - 475k before launch. Great numbers for Fable, MoH, and CoD.

LOL!! GT5 pre-order is sad. considering how many people have been screaming about the game on every site I go to, I expected them to already have at least 500K pre-orders. It's not even close. GT5 Prologue sold about 3.3 million copies, which is impressive for a demo. I'll be surprised if it sells more then it's demo. People are expecting it to sell 5-6 million copies, but I don't think it'll reach that plateau.

 

Fable 3 will sell over a million before the year is out, that's for sure.

There's nothing OMG about the increase nor is there any need to be sad about pre-order numbers. Games like GT don't need huge opening week like FPS, it will sell for years.
