Hopefully another Metroid game.  Other M was a huge step backward from the Prime series.  Whoever thought that controls in 3D space with a joypad was a good idea should be fired.  The first person rooted to the ground while firing missiles thing was nonsense too.  And don't get me started about how I had to stop playing for 10-15 minutes at a time to watch a long and boring cutscene...

In terms of control and momentum, Other M was a HUGE step forward from Prime.  I'll not miss floaty tank Samus.

The problems with Other M were it's awful story (which was like the antithesis of immersion) and overly restricted world design (it wasn't even really like Metroid until the post-game).  Prime did those better certainly, but that's really only half the Metroid experience.

Interesting.  I thought that MP3's controls were as smooth as butter.  That's just me though.

I am with you about the story and how Samus was confined to a ship.  I prefer exploring strange and beautiful worlds.

I think the problem with Other M is that it was basically Fusion redone and followed an almost identical template (even right down to Adam locking doors behind you).  Prime was really Super Metroid redone in most respects, throwing you into a huge open world to explore down into with minimal story intrusion.  I think had Other M followed more in the 3rd game's footsteps, the response to it would be entirely different.

I hope Sakamoto and Team Ninja do a Metroid 2 remake using Other M's engine (either on Wii or more likely 3DS).  It'd make sense given that's what they did with Fusion for Zero Mission.

I think he means, he prefers a more agile/fast Samus vs the slower movement in the Prime games. I think they made a decent job with Other M, but has rooms for improvement.

From Retro I want a new IP, something with RPG elements in it, like an action game with character upgrades or something along those lines, or a big adventure with a lot of exploration we know they make great worlds to explore, but with a new character so they can go wild with the plot.

The Legend Of Zelda

I think an F-Zero game would be appropriate as they have not created a racing game before. I would hope they implement many F1 elements into the game though.

I do not believe they should develop any other Metroid Prime Games (they made three!), however they could form new aspects for the Metroid franchise.

Ugh, no.  Thank fuck that ship's already sailed.

If anyone takes Zelda away from EAD3, it should be EAD Tokyo.  Link's Awakening 2 plz!

Star Fox for the N6; its the only way.

I could see a DKCR2 coming in 2012 though.

Star Fox or Metroid Prime Hunters 2 for 3DS. I haven't seen a FPS for the 3DS yet.
