I'm actually more interested in the supposed 4 games that SEGA have planned for the first year of the 3DS then what has already been announced so far by other publishers. Of course we don't know what these games are right now though, so I'd give the crown to Capcom or Level-5. Second place and beyond is up in the air imo, but personally I'd give that to Square-Enix or Hudson.
Sorry Namco. As much as I can't wait to replay Tales of the Abyss anywhere I want, Resident Evil Revelations took my vote from you. Now, if you were to create an entirely new Tales of for the 3DS, perhaps something along the lines of a sequel to a certain Tales of a-star-in-the-sky-whos-name-starts-with-a-v . . . . then we may be talking.
GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
gotta give it to Capcom even though i could care less about RE and already have SSF4 Mega Man Legends trumps anything here. Namco gets honorary mention for still making Gundam games. you crazy bastards
Konami has the best IMO for Contra, MGS & Pro Evo (though I never play soccer games). Namco has the line-up I will buy from the most followed by capcom. Konami, I will only buy MGS...I'm satisfied with Contra on my regular DS. @MrT-Tar, it was for the DS but I'm sure it will switch to 3ds mid-development!

Bumpdated! Added some more games, new titles, developer confirmations and (excitingly) DD games (3DSWare/VC/Classics).
What's classic games in 3D supposed to mean? Are they more than 1:1 emulations of home console games?
They're not emulated but actually reprogrammed supposedly, and they support display in 3D (unlike the VC games). So theoretically they could be the "best version" possible. For example, FDS games like Metroid, Excitebike or Castlevania will probably have battery save and the FM soundtracks (which were dropped when they were converted to carts for the west). They could also add in additional content from the later rereleases too for the games that have that (like the Mario Advance releases) and imports (like Murasume Castle) will be fully localized.

I doubt this to be true, because that would be so not like Nintendo.
A lot of stuff with 3DS seems to be pretty "so not like Nintendo". The best version stuff is mostly my speculation, but given they're reprogramming rather than emulating the games I don't see why not.
Think of them more along the lines of mobile phone ports and less along the lines of Virtual Console.
With SMT Persona, is it a remake of the original or is the title just a placeholder until it is official announced. I've been wanting to get into the series for a while, and I'll hold off importing the original if a remake is announced.
