Big games on the 360:

-So the game of the year doesn't count? Yes, Bioshock is also available on PC, but it has sold millions on the 360 IIRC.

Smaller games (out now and upcoming):

-Dead Rising

-Left 4 Dead (If you haven't heard of this one, look it up--seriously!)

-Splinter Cell: Conviction

-Perfect Dark

-Alan Wake

-Naruto: Rise of a Ninja (I'm not a fan of the show or any of the other games, but I love this one)

-Crackdown

-Shadowrun

-Viva Pinata

-Prey

-Not to mention the series' whose first installments were 360-exclusive whose sequels will be multiplat (such as Saints Row, Condemned, and Call of Duty 2)

-Splinter Cell: Conviction
pc multi.

-2 more Mass Effect games (Bioware said it's a trilogy and they're going to try to get all of them out this generation)
-Halo Wars (and Peter Jackson's Halo project)
these 3 probably also will go pc.

-A new Perfect Dark that is actually a sequel to the original (not a prequel) and goes back to that version's gritty, realistic look.
this might be to stay exclusive.

so 4 from 5 games will be probably on PC. Then why buy x360, which also has RROD issue?
not to mention, you don`t need to pay for online, to play on PC.

 i hate to disagree with you. but to think that MS won't make a profit this gen is just plan idiotic. they're already starting to make prifit now. and as for losing money. i guess the same can be said for sony too. remember they had to sell their processor factory and insurance company to stablize loses with the ps3. what people forget is MS finished last gen in second place not third. MS doesn't need japan to win. they just need to keep putting out games as they do now. you talk about sony winning in EU,JP but noone is buying games. how many games has sold over a million with the ps3 beside motorstorm,RFOM thats it. for a system thats surpose to dominate this gen. not too many people are interested in their games. as for 360's games being on pc. yeah you have a point. but how many people you think will keep upgrading their pc just to play these games. and for a pc to run the game at max setting would cost the average person more than the 360 itself. and if that the case why are people waiting for UT3 for ps3 when it's out for pc and better version. i think if the 360 was where the ps3 is right now.after two years. then this would be their last system.

Well I wouldn't go so far as saying they are making a profit as they are digging themselves out of the hole they are in.

Sure quarterly they may have started to make a profit, but they won't be in the black for quite some time (if ever, as you have to consider the possibility of R&D costs for the next XBox System)

Its been around 8-9 years since the XBox project was started, a decade is a HUGE amount of time for investors to have to wait on any return on their investment.

 Alan Wake was a PC only title to begin with when the first trailer surfaced and was indeed tech-demoed on one of the first quad-core rigs and a sick SLi setup early last year.

The 360 version was announced at a much later date as far as I know.

Why would MS quit now that they're making a profit? Quiting now doesn't give them back all the money they invested in the venture so far, it only guarantees that they will never make back their investment. As long as they don't continue to post large losses from their games division, they have no reason to leave.
