If KH3 is on an HD spec platform, it'll be multiplatform.  That's the only way the HD ecosphere makes sense, at least from SE's perspective (FFXIII, FFXIV, Batman AA, Star Ocean 4, Just Cause 2, Nier, FM Evolved, Dues Ex 3 etc).

It'll only be exclusive if it's SD, and more likely on a handheld then.

Nomura wants to make the game on current gen consoles. Nothing's confimed yet. 2013-2014 new consoles will be out. Or the game will even release into next gen...

Well Wasn't FFIX released when the PS2 came out and FFXII released when the 360 was out? SE does this kinda thing.

Thats what I've been trying to tell Soriku for over a year now.

darth I want it to come this gen but I need enough proof, like an actual confirmation. Sorry about being skeptical when it comes to SE.

why would you want it to come out, if you're not ganna get it anyway you didn't get birth by sleep, and I wouldn't expect you to get a PS3 or 360 for KH3...

comparing  former exlcusive to one brand platform on consoles atleast with just cause 2,nier,FM,DEUS EX,BATMAN doesn't make sense

and ff14 is an mmo

Because I don't really want a PSP much, but I want a PS3 (for a couple of games). I could've gotten a PSP early in the year (I had money) but chose not to remember (I had enough money from Christmas) and bought PS2 games.

Maybe I'll get a PSP when they're $50 used like a PS2 :P

That's no confirmation. Otherwise you'd have to acknowledge that it's confirmed to come on current gen consoles.

How were the repercussions bad?

A bunch of people bitched and moaned on message boards, which is a small percentage of the gaming population, and then still bought the game anyways.

I admit I know nothing about the money men at SE or even anything about Kingdom Hearts, but I know money men like money.

They're going to do what gets them the most money.  They have no obligation what-so-ever to be exclusive and SE is already showing they want to make multiplatform games.  RPG's take a shitload of money to make and when the money has to be split amongst SE, Disney, and the platform I would be surprised if the game was exclusive to anything.

lol, what?  FFXIII sold 1.5 million on the 360.  That is pretty significant.

And stop pretending it's 2007, the 360 stopped being "the shooter box" a long time ago.

Anyone who thinks KH3 will be on the 3DS or PSP/2 does not keep up with what Nomura has been saying for the past 5 years.

My general point was that they were going to keep it away from both PS3 and 360, especially at the rate its going to come out. By then there'll be at least one well-installed mobile device in Japan capable of many of the modern graphics card effects (though not their overall output), and possibly two.
