Yes, and from what i've heard the function will only be enabeld in the U.S., U.K., Japan and Mexico. In other regions it is going to be dissabled(probably because of accent). Other regions will get it in spring 2011 at the earliest, and i kind of have a feeling Kinect might already drop to 99 euro's by that time(atleast i hope so).

I might pick it up earlier if the reviews are really positive and there's alot of software, but i find 150 euro's a bit to steep, especially with alot of other great titles coming up(i would probably be more tempted to buy a used Wii for that money aswell).

Sony's had a deal with Disney for years! They were some of Blu-ray's greatest supporters! And I'm pretty sure Tron was used as promotional material for Move, as well.

Sony's deal with Disney helped Blu-ray to defeat HDDVD.  HDDVD signed on with paramount and lost to Disney/Blu-ray.

of course that's my opinion.

Actually the thing that made Blu-ray defeat HDDVD was Blu-ray getting Warner (biggest movie company I believe)

But having Disney probably helped too.

I've read numerous reports that say delays in action are on a per-game basis; meaning that some games perform better than others.  Also, I am quite sure that I have seen tech demo of the Zune update where the user is controlling it while sitting down.  It recognizes hand gestures and voice recognition in order to navigate.  I have also heard rumours that the new Netflix will work in a similar fashion.  Sorry, no sources.. just spectulation, rumor, and varieties of readings have lead me to this beleif.  Regardless, I think that any american on the fence about the product will "jump in" as soon as it is in every Best Buy :)

Personally, I am way more interested in the PS Move & Eye combo more than this. Actually, I think Kinect looks no more than a slightly better version of the PS Eye rather than what microsoft promised earlier. I guess the taking out vital technology thing wasn't such a good idea. All microsoft has to go on now is advertising. But knowing the microsoft Ad machine and the trends they might just succeed..

Yah my pastor tries to keep his sermons relevent, he preached a whole sermon on Avatar after it came to theaters. Its awsome.
