The SE fanbase is on DS/PSP, not Wii/PS3/360. If KH3 releases this gen, it should probably be on a handheld. Hell, it should probably just be on 3DS.
As far as RPGs on Wii, it's been pretty hit or miss, but Action RPGs have done generally well on Wii (Zelda TP, Super Paper Mario, MH3, Okami, Muramasa, DQ Swords, etc). A Wii KH3 would likely sell in-line with the PS2 games worldwide imo, it has the best (read: most diverse) console userbase for the game really.

And it also sold less than the series debut last gen (as have Star Ocean, Front Mission, etc). The fanbase didn't transition to PS360 exactly, and the only platform where any SE games have actually outsold what their series managed last gen is DS. All hail DS. :D

Did the SE fan base not transition to PS2? Because the FF debut on PS2 was lower than the PS1 FF debut......yeah, no Jarrod, your argument makes no sense.
Facts are facts which show S-E's top selling game of the gen is on PS360 and its outsold its previous iteration within 7 months of being launched.
With KH the West is key, in the west The SE fan base IS unarguably on PS360.

With sales for Crisis Core, FF III remake (DS) and even Kingdom Hearts: 358/2, I would say you are wrong. All these games sold more in the west than in Japan (CC sold 1.7m in the west and 0.8m in Japan). So there is definitely big fan base for SE on PSP/DS in the west. You would also have to consider that all of these are spin-offs and remakes so sales are automatically lower. We have no idea how much main series for FF and KH could have sold (DQ has never been popular in the west so it doesn't count). If we would list 10 biggest selling games for SE in the west, there probably are at least as many DS/PSP games as there are PS360 games. Number 1 game is definitely on PS360 but after that there are several PSP/DS games which have sold well.

And the reason for that is SE have only released ONE big Ps360 game this gen. handhelds have got most things.
SO4 was semi big and is almost at 1 Million now.
By this time in a gen FFXV should have been released too (with Versus XIII already released as well).....but we have only had one FF. Its not PS360's fault S-E is developing at a tortoise slow pace.
last gen S-E's big games on consoles were FFX, FFX-2, FFXII, KH1, KH2, DQ8....they were all 3 Million plus sellers.
This gen they have only FFXIII so far.....but we can assume Versus XIII, FFXV, and KH3 will do those level of sales.
So while I do agree PSP/Ds have a sizeable SE fan base I don't think its as big as the consoles one and once SE actually release more console games we'll see this.
If you do a best selling SE games in the west list FF13 comes out on top around 4 Million (way higher than the 2nd place whatever it is) and the rest wiill be handhelds because SE have released no other significant console games.....so its not really PS360's fault is it? And its not really PSP/Ds's fault that they got no mainline game.
