Forums - Gaming Discussion - Five reasons why Nintendo is the best company

They really are, without a single shred of doubt. It's just a fact that you have to accept. Learn to live with it. If you are still a non-believer, here are five excellent reasons to convince you that Nintendo is the best company:

1. They care for our safety - Unlike Sony and Microsoft who don't give a damn about their consumers, Nintendo does everything in their might to protect us from the evil out there. We are not going to hear racist teenagers talk to us in online games, unless we explicitly want to. Friend codes are a godsend.

2. Their consoles don't break down - Especially Xbox 360 owners should be familiar with this problem. Too many awesome games that get released all the time cause you to play your console day in, day out. The result is either overheating of your console or your disc drive wears out. That problem doesn't exist with Nintendo, because there are only one or two games worth playing released each year.

3. They care for our children - The game libraries of the HD consoles are full of violent hardcore games, spearheaded by blockbusters of the console manufacturers themselves. If you are a responsible parent and own a 360 or PS3, you have to hide the majority of your games from your children. Not a problem with the Wii, because Nintendo themselves would never make an M rated game.

4. They don't make you feel like a thief - Both, Sony and Microsoft, usually sell their consoles at a loss which becomes a question of moral for the consumer. Is he/she willing to hurt a company and the people working for it or not? Nintendo makes a profit off of everything, so you'll never feel like stealing from them.

5. They want to surprise us - Today, in the age of digital distribution, it's possible to easily provide the consumer with demos of upcoming or already released games to give him/her a good taste of the full product. Not so Nintendo who still insist that we buy the cat in the bag.

I love it.

lmao you quoted the whole thing just to say you love it?

Anyways this is a pretty funny thread. Seems like you're back on your game Rol. I lost faith in you for a while.

Someone has been rol'ed.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

funny, but you could have done better.

1. if your not playing with your freinds then you get what you get. racist and all, and you should have the commen since to kick those kind of people out of the game. thats what the feature is there for. its on PS3 and xb360. so your first statment is false.

2. thats a lie, all consoles break the only reall dif is that game cube and Wii are the only consoles that can survive a shotgun blast from close rang. and Nintendos failure rate is lower. 4 points lower then the PS3's

3. thats a toss up, and you don't haft to hide those so called M rated games. its good parenting and obedient children. the real problem on all consoles is dvd playback. watch porn anyone? take the DVD out before you turn your console off. games aren't the problem? multimedia is!

4. its there loss not mine, besides i didn't still that much. i got my PS3 last yr. on black friday. i was late for the bundle. dam! and don't they make enough money in the worst economy since the great depression? (no)

5. the big 3 always surprise me. heres some examples

Nintendo: i'm still waitting for a new star fox game. surprised one hasn't been made yet and will be surprised when they do make one.

MS: Rare hasn't made a new killer instinct (played gold two days ago) or a FPS. driving me crazy thinking about it, and yet still surpried neither hasn't been made yet!

Sony: wow your going to let me create my own games and levels on LBP,MNR, and LBP2. letting me bring my ideas to life while only spending $59.99 every 2 yr's instead of thousands a semester. my ideas have come to life? thanks Sony!

yes rol! i expected better from you. make another thread and really bring the heat this time. i'll be waitting
