Those were pretty bad tbh...first was ok tho I think that will do well BUT they should have shown more animals to get the kids riled up for it...so far all it shows is some kids on the ground doing poses that something in the screen is immitating..they better market this game better cuz I think they can do so well with this

second is horrible, it just makes the game look so tiring to play tbh and it kinda looks silly without the gameplay

Okay if you want me to humor you, you basically said that Kinect is gonna be hard to market for because it sucks.

It wasn't stealth at all, but it also definitely wasn't a troll.

These are advertisements meant to generate interest and make people want what you're selling, so of course people can't expect everyone to come in here and think these are great. 

These ads sure wouldn't sell me. All I saw were people looking silly, the screen moving really choppy and little to no game to go with it.

These Kinect commercials tell us nothing like that.

seems like they are trying to sell kinect as opposed to kinect's games.   seems like a losing strategy to me but honestly, what do i know.

except the japanese music, that's how the kinect commercials should be imo, show a lot of gameplay, and showing gamers of all ages have fun, but more stylish to fit the kinect commercial style from those videos..

 It has potential.. reminds me of the early early ps3 ads before the crying baby and the "It can play you" play b3yond ads, similar to how they are teasing kinect

The Japan ad wouldn't work here in New York, i'll tell you that.

What the Kinectimals "teaser" showed me right now is that while playing with the Kinect you could at one point be moving your hands around in front of you, then the next thing you know your on your back, on the floor with your hands and feet pointing up.

That wouldn't sell me Kowenicki.

Anyway, I don't think that these commercials work, I mean, they don't show gameplay, the just show pepole doing random shit in their living rooms...

They look like american tv ads to me. This is what I expected from their first few runs of ads so I am not suprised, and I think they will acclomplish what they want which is to get people asking questions about kinect and looking into kinect. They did not show much gameplay per se, but they did show how we will control games which is what everyone on here keeps asking and is what I wanted to know. I think closer to launch we will see more gameplay videos, but they may wait for those until they have more core games for hardcare gamers. Still looks fun to me, but I want all the motion controls so no suprise there:)

Its not random, they are showing how you will control games. The number one question I see asked on here about kinect is how will you control games. The joyride showed how you will accelerate, turn, looked like some spin for maybe an attack move etc. These commercials are aimed at generating interest and getting people to look into kinect, which I think they do.
