I fail to see how its a rip off. Clearly inspired, but its very different experience... its actually fun.

Hopefully, since the original is easily one of the best downloadable games out there. (Only beaten by Fat Princess and Mega Man 10, imo.)

You must not have played Super Metroid or Castlevania SOTN completely if you think Shadow Complex is just "inspired" by those games.

Pretty much every gameplay trick Shadow complex came from those games, from map coverage, and unlocking different areas...to double jump, breaking through walls power ups...you name it, it was done in those 2 games.

Regardless though, it was a good game and I guess making more makes sense. Hopefully its a bit harder the second time around.

Hopefully its coming next summer (remember, the 1st wasn't fully revealed until the E3 the summer it came out).  But they are working on that iPhone game right now too, so I don't know.

But my foolish dream is that Epic helped Chair secure the rights to Advent Rising and we'll see that series get the polish and direction it needs from Chair's Epic overlords and the true potential of that underrated flawed gem is realized.  Dare to dream . . .
