Great idea but still limited from the side scroller perspective. If they change it up it'd be better imo.

Maybe an overhead like Link to the Past or the old FF's? I'd play it...

I saw a video for a beta level with an overhead view and a town you can go into.  The battle system was that guy's biggest problem so maybe he should start working with the creator in the OP's video.

I'd like a combination of LttP and Diablo; using the Move controller for reticule skill targeting and the analog stick for movement. They kinda demonstrated it with Wii Tanks (in Wii Play).

I dunno, any one else think that'd be a good gameplay option?

The BuShA owns all!

looks like it could actually be a sweet addition to the game.  I'm still in the process of getting through the first LBP, not caring about %'s my first time through, but it'd be cool if I could get a lot of the %'s up, so we shall see how long it is before I get the 2nd one.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

The whole idea behind Little Big Planet is amazing. Never played the first one but is it worth picking up now or should one wait until the new one comes out? Not in a rush to play but would like to mess with the creator at some point. Did the first game have any type of single player at all? Will the new one have a single player game?

The first one has a single player and the 2nd one will also have single player. I have the first LBP and if I were you I would wait for LBP2, unless you really want to try the create tools and don't mind spending $30 or so (for a new copy/less for used)

If you think you can wait 4 months I'd suggest waiting.

But then again the game is great, so I'd be fine either way :P

this is incredible

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

Well the biggest thing LBP2 is doing, aside form the obvious gameplay, is the online social network. They need to REALLY push these guys making these levels. The thing about play, create, share is I cant make levels like this, but some Gems go hidden and unplayed due to the lack of organization.

Sony needs to push that in a big way because if they can show people the "developer" community of LBP is constantly churning out levels like this, and make it easy to hop on your iphone, PC or PS3 and queue up levels then when you get on LBP2 just play them it will be, and im not over-exaggerating, the real revolution LBP was supposed to be.

Also, media molecule needs to drop the weekly costumes and give monthly level packs too. I feel they were misleading in that area and relied on the community too much without giving them any support, especially with that god awful level select for usermade levels.

MM have decided to create a "facebook style" website for LBP2 where people can get links for levels they've created and can post on websites like this one.

I'm not 100% sure on the details but that's what I'm aware of.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.
