Kinnect advertising has really taken off down in my part of Oz, I expect huge holiday sales!

Word of mouth will help Kinect tremendously.  I expect sales to snowball for the rest of the year and I'm going to make another prediction, that the 360 hasn't peaked in yearly sales.

I was expecting it to be more than 10K down at this point. Taking a 10K deficit into Kinect release week is nothing.

If Kinect release week hits above the required run rate (American's/Continental Eurpoeans ask a Brit/Aussie/Kiwi/Indian/Pakistani what that means) then it's pretty much plain sailing from there.

I doubt 360 will hit the 1 million mark on 18/12 but if the Kinect effect is what it's expected to be it will be far enough ahead of target that not quite hitting 1 million won't matter.

HAHAHAHAA!  I LOVE it!  Bold yet possible.  

The next big price cut next year with the Kinect bundle costing $199 when the PS3 possibly drops to $199?  Oh the meltdowns will be epic here.  This gen is pure troll food and their appetites are insatiable ...

Right on, this gen is a monster that can't be feed. Next year is going to be even worse.

Maybe we should start a thread about meltdowns. When someone melts down really good. it should get a post into the  meltdown thread.

The sales of Kinect Bundled 360 SKUs is bonkers..I am telling you guys that Kinect is moving tons of 360 systems. You will see as sales results come out this holiday season. Kinect is a MAJOR boost to 360 sales. It is a game changer.

BTW, Move is shitbaked. Kinect killed that thing straight out of the gate. Move is inconsequential now.

Good idea, make one now and go back to last weeks or week b4 sales thread Im certain you'll find lots of 360 fans meltdowns in those thread that should start things off.

I don't think you realize just how big Kinect is going to be.  This is the PS3/Wii launch all over again in more ways than one.

No, I don't know and neither do you.  But I've always expected it to be big and it looks like it's just that.

Point of my comment is that there are many PS3 fanboys (not fans) on this site that have been talking over and over for years talking about the impact of a $199 PS3 and it would just be JUST LIKE THIS GEN to have a $199 Kinect bundle to counter it.  I can foresee the meltdowns, attacks, excuses and endless arguments already.  Oh the untold hours that people will spend here instead of gaming on these systems they have tramp stamped in their sigs.  Its going to be a true VGC classic.

In other news, it'll be nice to see what effect just 2-3 days of Kinect sales will have on the 360 numbers in NA for last week.  It'll will really tell the story on this thread's raison d'etre.
