Next HALO will be next-gen...heard it here first.

I'm with carl here...take a year off and come back with Halo 1/2 combo pack with better visuals, achievements and mp. Then give us Halo 4 for next Xbox.

Sure, why not. As long as the short-developed games are lower in quality and kill Halo's popularity. Would teach them a bit about milking.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Halo, though I must admit, I've only played the first one. And I couldn't even bring myself to finish it because the beginning was terribly boring. Anyway, I'm not a big fan of milking just about anything which is why I said what I said.

You guys are overreacting. Nowhere does he say there's going to be a new Halo every year, and even if he did, I wouldn't buy it anyway, because they only have one studio making them.

It could be easily done with one studio, it would just need tons and tons of staff.  And everyone knows Microsoft has plenty of money to fund it if they wanted too.  But again, I hope they keep it every 3 years for a main game.  And possibly every other year for an expansion pack.

I agree, they could have hired the one person who isn't any good at Naughty Dog... just because studios produce great games it doesn't mean there studio is made of gods

Should come out every three years. It's as simple as that.

If its just another FPS?  Every two years at the most often.

If they are expanding genres?  Maybe more frequently, as long as the quality remains high AND the different genres expand things to make the universe more interesting.  As much as they compare it to Star Wars, I just don't see as varied a universe here.

If you do that i'm 100% sure you won't see the same numbers.
