Wow didn't realise they were that close ...  67k to go.

I'm just curious, since the 50k difference between Reach and Halo 3 has been call a statistical tie in this thread, can the same be said of the 67k difference between the 360 and ps3? Or are the standards different between HW and SW? No fanboy shit here for I seriously don't know.

Awesome numbers for 360, can't wait to see NA's numbers this week.

Well depends who you talk to, statistical tie to me, means so close it's almost the same, not a 50k or 67k different, more like 1k.

This is where this whole mess started, funny as hell.

Good times.

I'm LOVING it. People said Reach WOULDN'T boost HW, and Reach WOULDN'T top Halo 3's launch?

... and these are just EMEAA sales.

So much for people buying into a system that don't care about Halo - Reach has proven there were still people out there that enjoy the Halo series but didn't buy a 360 when Halo 3 was out.

HATERS GONNA HATE!

It's just that simple.

PS3 has pretty much packed it in I think. The Move as I expected, had a very minimal impact on sales, and Sony has used up most of their cards. MS can milk the 360 a little longer, despite being a year older, with the new console model, Halo Reach, and Kinect. While I don't think Kinect will have a lasting impact either, it will provide a much bigger initial spike in hardware than Move.

Wii is entering the final weeks of its lull until starting to pick up for the onslaught of Wii titles for Q4, with Kirby, Goldeneye, Wii Party, Just Dance 2, Epic Mickey, DKC, Carnival Games 2, NBA Jam, etc, and the typical holiday boost. Wii has suffered this year having to rely almost entirely on the continued lift of NSMB, considering it basically had no hardware movers this year. While Wii will definitly have huge sales again this holiday, I think it is starting to age, and will be in pretty steady decline after the holiday. Though at the same time, I honestly don't see the HD consoles lasting too far beyond the typical 5-6 year cycle either, especially if Move and Kinect are flops like I expect.

wow, amazing SW&HW sales for 360 and reach!!!, just imagine the U.S. numbers!!!

also decent start for the PS move, hopefully it will have strong legs.

I was completely wrong, early on i really didnt think Reach would outself Halo 3. Once preorders were coming in i figured it would but still i was wrong. However while there were obviously people who didnt have a 360 yet buying one for reach, i really dont think its a large enough number to start trying to rub in peoples faces. Reach outselling Halo 3, however, rub away. You can start with me.

You heard it here first folks, a $299 console with GT5 to arrive in November is dead, dead I tell you.

I would say its packed it in you HOPE. Id hardly say the Move launch in September is evidence of a burial by any means considering the PS3 has yet to drop below $299 yet.

I've never read so much biased drivel in all my life, and that's saying something for this forum lol

Hm, 7 of the top 10 are Nintendo games? Yes, yes indeed.
