This reminds me of the time not too long ago that Iwata (I dont remember if it was Iwata or Miyamoto) said that the ds needed one last big hit. I thought the ds was through but then soon after they announced black and white. This numbers are scary good

i dont know, i think Nintendo gave a solid impression with marketting than B&W is a lot different in several terms than Diamond was back then(to other pokemon games). It appears to be the case.
