I've just rented this from love film and I'm curious what comes with it and is everything in one disc? If so, how big an update am I looking at when it arrives?

Update? PS3 version? I wouldn't get your hopes up about it.

That is, I don't you need to update, if you look at it that way. But I suppose you'll be able to enjoy the game unpatched.

Never mind me, I'm played my Half-Life 2 on PC but I'm still a little sad they couldn't release all the updates on console, too. Especially the PS3 version got shafted I think.

One disc, Half life 2-Half life 2 Episode 1-Half Life 2 Episode 2-Portal-Team Fortress2. No idea about a update.

Valve was still in PS3 hate mode at the time so I don't think EA released very many updates for it so I don't think you'll be in for a big wait when you start playing.

I couldn't tell you much else about that version. I rented it on PS3 just so I could play Portal, but it was mainly to tide me over until I could pick up the PC version a few weeks later.

update is around 280meg

280 doesn't sound so bad, I can live with that. I guess Lovefilm is a bit like Gamefly for your guys, my contract ends in December, so I could technically hold on to it till then.
