It's actually pretty weird that they are gonna change Dragon Age to be more like Mass Effect considering that Dragon Age sold better than Mass Effect 1 or 2. 3.2 million shipped by the end of december.

Sure, but isnt it because Dragon Age is multiplat and ME was (until recently) only on 360 and PC?

BioWare make serious and concerted efforts to listen to their fans and wider internet feedback. They're one of the best companies in the business about this sort of thing.
The changes wont' affect sales so much as the experience of playing the game.

ITs because ME1/2 were exclusive
Now when you see ME2 becoming multiplat, see it fly past 3 Million and more in sales!
Why is being a mishmash of 10 fantasy novels a bad thing? I can't remember the last fantasy novel I was praising for originality. Maybe I'm blind though, because I think Oblivion is much more heavily cliched than Dragon Age is.

Clichéd? Hell no. The emperor's last dying wish is for a complete stranger to find his last heir to the throne, who is the only one who can stop the demon who has plans to rule the world!

I don't like the fact that you can only play as a human character in the game. The first one was a great game,but I think that there going in the wrong direction. Why does a game have to be like another game? How about they make Dragon Age 2,like Dragon Age 2. lol
