Forums - Gaming - It's 4 years later why are there still issues with motion controls?

I think Sony fixed most of the problems I had with wiimote. Mainly the Move is way more accurate, its a step in the right direction. and considering the Wii cost me 250 and the MOVE controller only cost m 50 (already have the EYE, which I bought for 25 bucks, new) I think that aint so bad

I bought PS3 b4 I knew about they were releasing Move, years ago. As far as im concerned the Move is just a bonus to add to my PS3 arsenal of crap. I bought Wii cause of motion controls, but they turned out to kinda suck. This dont mean goodbye Wii and it goes in the dresser draw. I still have Sonic, 007, Lost in Shadow and new Zelda to play.

Motion Gaming is just a disease of this gen and I hope we will return to  Controllers ONLY

Motion gaming is here to stay, whether you like it or not.

i think so too... but i really hope that they stay as an option... i would hate if MC become the standard in console gaming!

Which is the big idea behind the design of the Wii remote and nunchuck to begin with, options and openess.  You can have motion in a game if it works or not if it doesn't seem to fit.  Things like the PS Eye and Kinect limit you to having to have motion if you want to support them, while things like Move and Wii could just not use it and might take advantage of things like the pointer instead.

Things take time to perfect.... think of analogue sticks... the N64 one wore down over time and the PS pair were way too loose and not as accurate.

it usually takes like 10-15 years for controllers to go right anyways, it was about that length for d-pad controllers and analog controllers, so prolly the same for motion /shrug

Issues, my waggles works perfectly!
