Soriku, what's up with you? The threads you created today were all at least acceptable, it's time for you to think of something that deserves to be called spam. I need my fix.

Probably he's posting off a PC for once instead of the Wii hehe.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

First the price wasn't lowered because iPhone isn't/wasn't selling. It was lowered right alongside the launch of the touch iPod wich retails for $100 less. It was a stratagy to make people (particularly apple fanatics) to go well 100 more and I could get a phone too. As proof just look at the rebate that people who purchased the iPhone within a month of the pricedrop get; if it had to have the price lowered to sell would apple really be giving rebates?

Second, if apple enters the gaming market the only real hope is that Nintendo crushes them early. If apple isn't stopped on a product early in its life the product line lives on into inequity.

They already tried to get into the living room with Apple Tv and today, Forbes calls it an I flop. http://www.forbes.com/free_forbes/2007/1001/046.html

I don't know exactly what the iPhone does, but it does sound awful familiar to the European launch of the PS3.

Whoa, really? So adjectives related to countries or continents always start with caps? Learned something new.

Btw, shouldn't the part after the comma read: "but this does sound awfully familiar to the European launch of the PS3"?

I can catch the obvious ones but ones like that I miss or don't care.  :-p

Yes the iPod/Itunes are huge but EVERY other market Apple is in they have single digit marketshare. Computers, OS, phones, media centers, PDAs. They are no threat. Unless they buy every major 3rd party they have no games.

An alliance between Apple and Nintendo is something to watch out for. Imagine a next generation handheld called the iPod DS. shudder.....

Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

*naznatips is exempt

I think that they are kinda liking N's blue ocean marketing, we'll see what they do...

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

I saw this a while back. Most of the analysts dismissed it for a lot of the same reasons here. Basically, it boils down to nobody beats the Big N in handhelds.

Don't flame this as fanboyism. But history is littered with handhelds that have lost to Nintendo, though most were more technologically advanced -- Game Gear, Lynx, Wonderswan, Neo-Geo Pocket, etc.

Basically, the thought is that they might want to make a game-enabled iPhone, which would be a high-end rather than mass market product.
