Forums - General - So, I'm off to uni tomorrow...

And I am buzzing! Literally been on a hype for over a week, now. Anyone else off to Uni soon, or just recently started?

For those interested, I'm going to University of Kent (Canterbury), I'm in a single-room, sharing a corridor with 7 other people. I'm studying Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence, not that it matters much, because I don't intend on being alive after Fresher's.

And for those a year below, I guess you're supposed to be writing your personal statements right about now... if you're struggling, just find your smartest friend and use it as a "template" (read: copy liberally), that's what I did, and it's worked out great for all of us - he's going Cambridge (CompSci with Maths), and I'm off to Kent to do my course.

So, yeah... EPIC

University of Bath MEng Civil and Architectural engineering, leaving home on the 25th : > Got myself an ensuite shower at a hafty £105/week, I'll be paying my ass off when I graduate >.<

Think positive! Leaving home is an important step in your life. When I left home and moved to Vienna a lot of things changed in my life. You'll like your independence :).

Uni is starting again at the beginning of October but I already have to prepare for a test in the very first week of next month. Good luck to all of you who start studying this year.

Uni starts next week for me as well. Graduating this quarter (ending in December).
