Forums - General - Marvel has done it again

As if they haven't fucked over Spider-Man with the clones (horrible story) and having him unmask (wtf) they have killed the relationship between him and Mary Jane. In ASM 641 she reveals that she isn't strong enough to deal with him being Spider-Man anymore, I remember Marvel saying that they wanted him single so this may stick for a while but last time I read an avengers book Ms. Marvel had the hots for him (she is the my avatar if you don't know who she is).

The Fantastic Four will lose a member, I was at my local comic shop and saw a flyer with FF logo only there wasn't a four in there it was three. Thing leaving FF to join the avengers full time?

I know these things may not be set in stone but since the new Captain America is here stay who knows what marvel is thinking.

oh yeah the punisher is now dead and has been brought back as Frankencastle...yeah

You a Marvel fan?  Didn't know that.  I gave up on Marvel during the mid 90's.  And yes, what little I know of the Spider-Man clone stories was out the window.

Hackers are poor nerds who don't wash.

I've been expected that break-up ever since they got married.   It was inevitable.  And frankly, probably one of the more true-to-life things they've done.

The FF have dropped members so many times I've lost count, always to get a fill-in.  Almost always it's the Thing who's gone awol.  Nothing new there.

Franken-Castle?  Yeah, right... Nice try  *googles...* Holy crap!  That's just... stupid.

One of the four is supposed to die*

*nobody really dies in comic book world but you know what I mean...

Death is only an inconvenience in the Marvel Universe.  Nuff said.

What ever happened to death being a surprise?   Like Jean Grey in the original Phoenix saga?

Ah well... they are all overdue for a vacation... er... death... anyway.

One of the VERY few Uncanny X-men issues I kept was X-men 137 when Jean commited suicide.  Almost everything I had from that point up through the mid 90's I got rid of.

Thing's gone with the Avengers before, as have Reed and Sue. It'll pass.

I wonder if they'll get She Hulk to replace him.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Marvel's characters would be in better hands of D.C.'s (or literally anyone elses) writers.

That's happened once before.
