Yeah the rest of 2010 doesn't have much, but look at 2011. Killzone 3, Resistance 3, LBP2, Likely Uncharted 3, InFamous 2 and SOCOM 4. Plus whatever's announced at E3 and the other game shows compared to 360 which all we know for sure is coming is Gears 3.

Well if you bring in a possible Uncharted 3, there is likely to be an exclusive Mass Effect 3 (or one year timed exclusive) for the 360. Then there is Kingdoms, and Forza Kinect. I also consider Project Draco (likely Panzer Dragoon) a big title. Huxley is another game published by Microsoft, so if you include SOCOM, you should include Huxley. Then there is the MechWarrior reboot, XCom, Dead Island, Dungeon Hero, Demeons of Mercy, Prey 2, and Steel Batallion.

It's just of the 7 PS3 exclusives you named, all of them are seqauels to previous PS3 titles. So you know they will be good, but just more of the same.

On the 360, out of the 13 titles I named (I left out a bunch too simply because I never heard of them), only 4 have seen previous 360 interations, 3 of them have seen older interations, and the other 5 are completly new.

We know what to expect from the PS3 lineup, we only know what to expect from about a quarter of the 360 lineup.

I can pretty much garentee Gears, Forza, Mass Effect 3, Kingdoms, and Prey 2 to be good, but thats only 5 games.

So 360 has a bigger exclusive lineup (and we still dunno what Rare could announce, and MS usually announced at least one big game late into development), but the PS3 has a lineup with more games that are garenteed to be good.

Got to say this list seems exceptionally light on AAA stuff; Gears 3 and that's your lot.

As ever, I'm sure Microsoft have plenty up their sleeves.

In terms of the inevitable Metacritic wars next year though, I think it'll be a lot less balanced than in previous years.

It amuses me how everytime shio posts in this forum, it's always to bash the 360. It's getting almost laughable now.

I know, everyone says just Gears, and I can easily list 5 AAA or 9 plus/10 titles, and about 10 more games that have a good chance at becoming 9/10 as well.

Wasn't it last year that everyone was like "more diversity in games please!" Now MS is doing that, so I'm excited...

This year sony delayed games that were appearing on several similar lists left and right (socom, LBP2 e.t.c ) and no "new" games that were announced at E32010 were released in 2010 . I predict the same thing happening in 2011 .

As for MS ,Gears 3 and Kingdoms (which will be released in 2011, i am taking bets over that) are the only hardcore games that we know but since gears 3 is coming out soon i am sure that , at the very least , there are games waiting to be announced for holiday 2011 , unless some people believe that MS won't publish a single game in Q4 2011 .

MS will have released Halo reach, Gears 3 and Fable 3 in the timespan of around 6 months which in itself is impressive. I will enjoy these before starting to worry about what MS will have to combat "heavyweights" (and i am being sarcastic here) like infamous 2 and Resistance 3.

They will release 3 games that might sell 20 million in 6 months. Because 2 of them were in 2010, they don't count. oO Halo Reach plus DLC and Fable III plus DLC will keep me busy quite some time.
Forza Kinect was anounced for 2011 release and people ignore this one, too. Forza 2 and Forza 3 sold about 7 million I guess and both games were rated as AAA titles. but we can still ignore this one.

Suda51 developing a Kinect game which is set to release in 2011? Ignored.

I can't wait to hear what Rare and Lionhead are doing. And I want to know about Firebird-studio. Disney develops a Kinect game, too. We will see how that turns out. THQ is working on a core Kinect game as well.

I want MS not to focus on E3 that much. They did a GREAT show this year at TGS, but somehow did not show anything new at GamesCom except the mobile phone business and games, which looked amazing, but still I want Xbox 360 news in Germany.



Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

X-Com is going to be a big release as well. I didn't know it was a 360 exclusive. I'm presuming MS paid to get that.

I'm skeptical about the Kinect games as well. But its good to see it only took a couple core titles to get people excited about the Kinect.

It's not, it's coming to PC. And the game's hype has been dead ever since it was announced.

Your negativity towards X360 is getting old. Get a new hobby. Its an exclusive as far as console gamers are concerned. PC gaming has become a very niche market.

Xbox 360 wants to Kinect &  PS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

Don't disappoint yourself next year with overexpecting things from MS. They are primarily focused on the Kinect right now. It's kind of like the same casual phase Nintendo went through with the Wii.

I'm curious to see which ones of those end up on ps3, there are always a few, hell even mass effect 2 is coming to ps3, I was thinking about getting a 360, but it just doesn't seem to have any games of its own, anyways here's hoping the games I end up wanting end up on ps3, otherwise I'm going to have to buy a gaming pc
