We'll see. But I doubt it. Not enough to make up for the extra dev costs. A small niche game like this has a limited audience and spreading to more consoles isn't going to suddenly increase the amount of people who want to play it.

Isn't Demons Souls getting up to 1 million?  Yeah, limited audience v.v

But I believe that almost 1 million is a specific bunch.

Considering its the best game this gen I'd say it has a pretty limited audience if it can't break 1 million

In your opinion of course... I thought it was kind of meh. It was fun to begin with but in the end it wasn't worth it.

And that in no way proves that it is a limited audience. You my good sir, have failed

So in your opinion it's not a limited audience in which you cannotprove.  Failure as well...?

;)

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

750K on one console isn't what I call a "limited audience".  Name some other action rpgs and how well they sold. The first one that comes to mind is Oblivion and that game sold over 4 million on consoles alone.

Edit: I'll add more as I find them

http://www.vgchartz.com/worldtotals.php?name=Kingdom Hearts &publisher=&console=&genre=&minSales=0&results=50&sort=Total Oh snap :o

http://www.vgchartz.com/worldtotals.php?name=Two worlds&publisher=&console=&genre=&minSales=0&results=50&sort=Total 500K for one region for a pretty mediocre game. Yeah, very limited

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

And I respect your opinion, but it's that and nothing else.  Cuts both ways, buudy.  Hope you aren't getting heated over nothing.  And I really don't see the point in your links since the conclusions drawn from them are opinions as well.  In fact, one could argue that the less something sells while still being a success can be viewed as being bought by a limited audience.  I also can make the argument that the links you provided of those games were bought primary by Disney/Final Fantasy fans while the other mainly by LOTR fans (limited audiences each).  Not saying this is the case becuase I don't know, and niether do you.  Opinions, you have those too in case you didn't know.

Genres that constantly sale close to or over a million are not "limited audiences". With your logic you can say that FPS also has a limited audience.

I backed up my opinion with links that support it. His opinion was "Demon's Souls is the best game ever so it must be a limited audience if it can't get past a million"

There for. I don't fail :P

EDIT: Besides, it wasn't my logic.  It was just an example which YOU used which implies that the the more people buy into something (such as Halo), the wider the audience.  Therefore the smaller the sudience, the MORE LIMITED the audience.  Don't blame me that you went there.  ;)

@jordahn, i see your point and from the game it seems that is what fromsoftware did with the game. but i still think a option for how hard u want the game would help its potential sales, i thought the game had some cool features but i didnt like the difficulty of the game. i dont mind a game being hard and testing your endurance and strategy in the game , but u should also be enjoying the game more than getting mad at it. i really like fromsoftware this gen and wana support them, but i will pass on this game due what i said in the above sentences.
