So in your opinion it's not a limited audience in which you cannotprove.  Failure as well...?

;)

750K on one console isn't what I call a "limited audience".  Name some other action rpgs and how well they sold. The first one that comes to mind is Oblivion and that game sold over 4 million on consoles alone.

Edit: I'll add more as I find them

http://www.vgchartz.com/worldtotals.php?name=Kingdom Hearts &publisher=&console=&genre=&minSales=0&results=50&sort=Total Oh snap :o

http://www.vgchartz.com/worldtotals.php?name=Two worlds&publisher=&console=&genre=&minSales=0&results=50&sort=Total 500K for one region for a pretty mediocre game. Yeah, very limited

And I respect your opinion, but it's that and nothing else.  Cuts both ways, buudy.  Hope you aren't getting heated over nothing.  And I really don't see the point in your links since the conclusions drawn from them are opinions as well.  In fact, one could argue that the less something sells while still being a success can be viewed as being bought by a limited audience.  I also can make the argument that the links you provided of those games were bought primary by Disney/Final Fantasy fans while the other mainly by LOTR fans (limited audiences each).  Not saying this is the case becuase I don't know, and niether do you.  Opinions, you have those too in case you didn't know.
