I didn't notice.  Let me say this, though:  The graphics weren't the end all/be all that I expected.  I was far from blown away but I only logged in an hour.  I expect things to pick up, soon enough.  The immersive music I expect from a Halo wasn't there just yet, either.  I did see it pause for a milli-second when the game "Reach"-ed chech points but no.  Never saw the frame rate chug.  I install every game I play so maybe that's the reason.  I dunno.

Like I posted elsewhere, the game hasn't hooked me just yet (keep in mind I'm not a big FPS fan and the only reason I got it on day one is because my co-op partner got it on day one) but I can recognize quality when I see it.  This game oozes quality.  But if it has frame issues, then so be it.  "It is what it is."

I'm just curious as to why you would expect that from Halo. Even the serious fanboys know that graphics aren't Halo's strength. I know your boy Selnor likes to go off about how impressive the engine is and all but I don't really ever remember hearing anyone say any dumb shit like Halo is gonna look better than ( insert whatever game that is known for it's awesome graphics ). End all be all expectations from Halo graphics is just setting yourself up for disappointment.

OT, I have seen it here and there, particularly in the beginning. Oddly enough I haven't noticed it at all when the shit is hitting the fan. Mostly during cut scenes but no big deal for me. I noticed something else too, when my kids were playing campaign, in the beginning when the team encounters the first villagers, Emille's skull wasn't etched into his helmet. It was just a plain old extra regular EVA helmet, all shiny and clean. So when I starting playing my copy on my 360, I was looking for the same thing but his helmet had the skull.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

MS (sony too) needs to let us crossfire 2 Xbox 360s to play games at a better frame rate... :)

it all depends on the level . the first second and 6th levels all perform horribly while the 3rd 4th 5th are perfect

Have you emptied the HDD cache as I suggested earlier, seriously you have an issue as that isn't how it should be running.

Heh, I experianced it every time I hit a checkpoint (hint, there is one every 10 seconds on the first mission), everytime something loaded, and everytime there was too much going on. I installed the game and now it only does it after I jump O.o I'm not pleased with this.

Past Avatar picture!!!

Don't forget your helmet there, Master Chief!

I watched some of those "making of" videos on XBL and I checked out some online trailers.  That's all.  The game feels great and controls like a dream.  I just thought it was going to blow me away from the second I hit start and it didn't.  Plus, I was in another Halo related threasd in which somebody asked how it compared to some other games (b

Damn touch screen phone!  I'll post later.

^ Lol, I couldn't figure out what the hell (b meant.

ya its happen in the first stage and its not only one time.

I'm only 2 hours into the game, but this hasn't happened to me at all. I'm surprised, considering some of the fights are like 10 vs 25
