I expect things to pick up, soon enough. The immersive music I expect from a Halo wasn't there just yet, either. I did see it pause for a milli-second when the game "Reach"-ed chech points but no. Never saw the frame rate chug. I install every game I play so maybe that's the reason. I dunno. Like I posted elsewhere, the game hasn't hooked me just yet (keep in mind I'm not a big FPS fan and the only reason I got it on day one is because my co-op partner got it on day one) but I can recognize quality when I see it. This game oozes quality. But if it has frame issues, then so be it. "It is what it is." |
I'm just curious as to why you would expect that from Halo. Even the serious fanboys know that graphics aren't Halo's strength. I know your boy Selnor likes to go off about how impressive the engine is and all but I don't really ever remember hearing anyone say any dumb shit like Halo is gonna look better than ( insert whatever game that is known for it's awesome graphics ). End all be all expectations from Halo graphics is just setting yourself up for disappointment.
OT, I have seen it here and there, particularly in the beginning. Oddly enough I haven't noticed it at all when the shit is hitting the fan. Mostly during cut scenes but no big deal for me. I noticed something else too, when my kids were playing campaign, in the beginning when the team encounters the first villagers, Emille's skull wasn't etched into his helmet. It was just a plain old extra regular EVA helmet, all shiny and clean. So when I starting playing my copy on my 360, I was looking for the same thing but his helmet had the skull.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
