Hm, according to Wiki, the requirements for a ps3 game to go Greatest HIts is 500k sold and 10 months on the market in NA. They don't cite a source however. It would make sense though, given the requirement for ps1 games was 150k, which was later bumped up to 250k, and the requirements for ps2 games was moved up to 400k.

If that's true, then Demon's Souls has sold more than 500k in NA alone. VGChartz was originally right, and all the people screaming "overtracked!" were wrong.

That's nice. I despise the game but I'd like to see it cross the million mark.

And why do US Greatest Hits looks so much nicer than the PAL ones? >:( I will never EVER buy one of those yellow monstrousities.

280k until April 2010.

Did ~150k in October (NPD data), so only 130k between November and the end of March. This obviously includes the christmas season. never in hell did it 220k more between April & August in NA.

OT: Well that doesn't effect me since I'm not living in the US, but I'm going to buy Demons Souls soon enough

I just dug up the old Atlus shipment thread. Atlus seems to have a really weird quarterly breakdown. It's actually 280k as of the end of January. 220k in 7 months doesn't seem too strange.
