Hm, according to Wiki, the requirements for a ps3 game to go Greatest HIts is 500k sold and 10 months on the market in NA. They don't cite a source however. It would make sense though, given the requirement for ps1 games was 150k, which was later bumped up to 250k, and the requirements for ps2 games was moved up to 400k.
If that's true, then Demon's Souls has sold more than 500k in NA alone. VGChartz was originally right, and all the people screaming "overtracked!" were wrong.
