Forums - Gaming - Should i buy a 360 or a Wii

Wii 100% sure. You have already a ps3 and a good gaming pc, if you have a wii you can buy almost every interesting games in the market, on ps3 you have 3rd party games and sony's exclusives, on pc you also have some of the games you can't play on ps3 or simply are better on it, like wrpg, shooter and rts, if you'll get a wii you could also play any Nintendo exclusive and platform game you want. Also, I consider the local multiplayer offer on wii, the best.

And I see you have listed Metroid Prime Trilogy in your "wishlist" on wii, if you haven't played the originals on gamecube that game alone is a very good reason to buy a new console.

Wii, I own all three, and I would say without a doubt if you own a ps3 don't get 360 before wii.

The Wii.  A Wii and a HD system has always made more sense to me than 2 HD systems.

ALso, if the Wii2 comes in early January I will eat my computer.  The 3DS is all but complete and we still don't know for certain if we are going to have that by January.

No Wii 2 before November 2011 (possibly later still), so if you're willing to tough it out for a year, go for it

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Xenoblade in coming out for the Wii.  And if you haven't played Silent Hill Shattered Memories on the PS2 or the PSP, get it for the Wii.

Dude Wii its cheaper with more diverse games plus you already have a modded 360 and for me Multiplayer and a few arcade games not also on PC would not be worth the investment.

New Super Mario Bros.
Kirby Epic Yarn
Mario Galaxy 1 and 2
Metroid Trilogy and Other M
plus much more

Not to mention the saved money can buy you Black Ops, Medal of Honor or Killzone 3.

Wii

360 and Ps3 both game library are almost same and games which are not on PS3 are on PC.

So it would be waste of money imo if you buy 360

You listed like 14 Wii games and 7 X360 games (note, I'm just guestimating off a quick check so don't cry if I got one of the numbers wrong). I think that answers itself.

I personally went with Wii/PS3 because I wanted more games on PS3 than X360. You also claim you absolutely love kirby, so that along with wanting more games for Wii makes it pretty clear to me.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
