Forums - Nintendo - So Minish Cap is pretty fun

I was enjoying some fond memories of Minish cap the other day. I really wish we could just have another good ol' 2D Zelda. I was able to stomach it for the Phantom Hourglass, but cannot force myself to accept the convoluted, tedious, and unintuitive controls of Spirit Tracks. Really makes you appreciate Minish cap even more.

I loved the overworld music. It was absolute perfection. The final boss was very challenging. Another great addition were the sword combo moves. And the cape! The cape was epic. I used it to glide everywhere after I got it. I never got all the kinstone combinations. I did get all the figurines though. That was painful. Never bothered with it in Wind Waker. Just way to difficult in that game. But anyways, enjoy Minish Cap. It is a wonderful gem of a game on GBA.

Best handheld Zelda after Link's Awakening.  I still plan on going back and fusing all the kin stones - one of the most addictive features of that game.

i liked it as well,it was straight to the point and fun.thats the good thing about time,i dont have to worry about trolls coming to tell me how i dare say that on a forum, since its an abomination and poorly ranked for a zelda game crap. They go away and forget while true players remember the good times.

Favorite zelda game. Oh man , somehow i prefer gba graphics for some nintendo titles. This is one of them.

its been confirmed today that GT5 has a weather system, track editor and go karts! seriously i think this is going to be the best selling in the series even beating GT3 sales of 14 million plus!

Ahh~ One of the best GBA games and one of the best games last gen. So underrated.

:D

my favorite  2d zelda game i absolutely loved that game

it is a nice game, i wish i could remember more about it, the only thing i do remember is having fun playing it which is always a good sign

Dam i can't remember the game much, played through it only once. But I certainly loved the art style, and the whole big/small mechanic, and how it's integrated into the puzzles. Me loves the puzzles.

I think this is the first love for Minish Cap thread I've ever seen! It's always been one of my favourites it's good to see it getting a bit of praise. I wish Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks had used a 2D style similar to Minish Cap,  the GBA game is much better looking that it's 3D counterparts.
