I've been thinking things through a long time, and looking at all the replies.

Homer_Simpson has been suspicious to me through the whole game, and now I just want to see him lynched - even if it's just to see if he was telling the truth or not. I always hate to be the second poster on a "wagon", but I wanted to get my vote across.

1.  The only thing I've ever said about being able to revive proving I'm town is that it would be crazy if mafia can revive mafia.
"Do you have anything to say before your "100% fact" takes a nosedive in the face of me bringing someone back from the dead? "

2.  I don't even understand what you're getting at here, there was no random kill.

I meant, reviving the unkillable doctor is more important than the town taking a random kill (losing a random townie)

3.  This is not how it happened.  This is how I announced:  "Hi, I can bring someone back from the dead.  I thought it was random, but now that I'm looking at my PM again I think I can just pick.  So I'm going to revive Heph."

It was more like you were being accused of mafia, albeit by some random voting by hat and kantor, and then submitted your roleclaim. You may have thought that you were making an innocent randomly timed roleclaim, but in reality, you were under scrutiny and it came off as, "I'm town, not only did I block last nights kill, but I can revive heph".

"I didn't use it N1 because if the kill is blocked by someone else (e.g. doctor) my power is still used up.  Tonight I figured it was time.  So yes, I stopped the kill.  "

"Yes.  That's right.  I have a one shot ability to take someone who is dead and make them not dead.  This is obviously a single shot power.  Unfortunately, it is also a random power.  Someone will be brought back to life, but I have no control over who it is.  Lol, I had thought the one I used it on was randomized, but upon reviewing my PM it looks like I was insane.  I think I can use this on whomever I want ... and I don't think I'll ever have a better person to use it on than Heph.  (That was not an edit.  I caught this before publication.)  "

But I assume radish is the one reviving the twins, so he has better things to do than cure me, and anyway there's no guarantee the power I have would improve and the longer I wait to use it the more people die and right now I have a 50% 100% shot of reviving our stupidly powerful doctor"

In this quote you actually say that you have a 100% chance of getting heph back despite being confused and not helped by radish.

Secondly, you then say, "any objections to getting heph back?" and "when you decide that I should use this power instead of getting killed tonight without using it..."

To me, you should have just done it, but you wielded this power as if you didn't want to use it. Why wouldn't you?

Then you change it again
"
OK, turns out I was right the first time, it revives one person RANDOMLY from the dead people.  "

I thought about asking you guys if I should go now or wait for radishhead to cure me, but then I thought, "screw it, let's do this"

Then you said this, which is not true as shown above

"It was in my initial roleclaim that I am confused and my power might improve in accuracy if radish were to cure me. "

 Then you said
"As for the revival not happening, dtewi hasn't read my PMs, and I chickened out anyway ... pending what you guys want me to do."

 Then Homer said
"

anyway, as per what I discovered last night,
vote Final Fan

hopefully this wont remove my powers, but I can investigate one person during the game as part of them, last night it was him and I was informed of his being someone who is evil.
makes today easy folks, step up and lynch the confirmed bad guy "

and you used your power of being able to raise someone from the dead as proof of innocence:
"Do you have anything to say before your "100% fact" takes a nosedive in the face of me bringing someone back from the dead? "

It's just a total misrepresentation to say that I originally just said "Hey I can revive someone, aren't I awesome" without the intention to use it, and then someone asked me to use it and then I said "oh wait no ...".  That's not how it went down and I think you have a little bit of revisionist memory going on there to convince yourself you saw it all coming.

You can see it's not revisionist memory. Either you very poorly understood the macro-context of your posting and errors, or you did understand and were shifting around the story to suit your own ends.

I understand the suspicion against me but that is NOT how it went.

Maybe you should read from page 11, every post involving you. When you read with just one person in mind, it becomes a story, there's an unknown plot, there's a tone, etc etc. To me, the tone is of you using your role as a defense, creating confusion, and then using it as a defense again.

quoted for clarity editting

1.  Yes, his claim of my being mafia is indeed brought into question by my ability to revive people IMO.  That is exactly what I just said.

2.  I see.  I believe I could have simultaneously stopped the kill AND revived Heph.  I regret that I did not do that, but I thought no one would fucking die, so I could safely wait till day and convince you all I was innocent, which would help the town by removing a suspect.

3.  I can see that point of view on the timing of my claim.  However, such a drastic move would be completely uncalled-for.  I am not a noob and making an outlandish claim under mild scrutiny is a total panic move.

In this quote you actually say that you have a 100% chance of getting heph back despite being confused and not helped by radish.
Actually, no.  I didn't mention it at all because I thought it was irrelevant.  In fact, I even mention that I HAD thought it was random (because of the unmentioned confuse) but then I looked at it again and thought it wasn't (because I thought the confuse didn't matter).

To me, you should have just done it, but you wielded this power as if you didn't want to use it. Why wouldn't you?
There was a REMOTE possibility that someone had something else they wanted to happen first, or I just wanted people's opinion.  Part of this was me just mindlessly sticking to the original plan (when I thought it was random) of asking people's opinions on go/no go.

TRUE/FALSE?  "It was in my initial roleclaim that I am confused and my power might improve in accuracy if radish were to cure me."
You are correct that the word "confuse" is missing from my post.  But observe:  "But I assume radish is the one reviving the twins, so he has better things to do than cure me, and anyway there's no guarantee the power I have would improve and the longer I wait to use it the more people die and right now I have a 50% 100% shot of reviving our stupidly powerful doctor"
This supports that I initially thought it was randomized by my confusion -- a state which had been curable by radish -- but then I (wrongly) thought it wasn't.  Evidently in my pre-posting editing session I must have deleted the explicit mention of "confuse" for what at the time was clarity purposes.

tl;dr
your "macro context" bullshit is going to bite the town in the ass exactly like your "yomi" bullshit did last game.

To summarize I wouldn't mind seeing one or the other lynched. My gut feeling is telling me Homer is more likely to be scum but my practical sense is telling me that Final-Fan is a safer lynch because if he's not scum, he's a vanilla townie right now.

This is going to kill me.  I just know it.

But I'm not all that comfortable with lynching Homer.

Yes, Homer says he investigated me and found me guilty which I am sure based on my PM is incorrect.  But on the other hand, GoW tried to frame him.  And he has been either honest or one of the best actors VGC Mafia has ever seen IMO.

But if I'm not voting him I'm not sure who to vote for.

And yes, I guess if I get lynched losing a townie wouldn't be THAT bad to the town.  But remember I am an unsilenced townie which is actually pretty valuable at this point.

And come to think of it being silenced is weak evidence of being pro-town.
(Weak as in "better than none")

So who is silenced again?

Stefl and MetalGear are silenced. Stefl is pretty much confirmed as pro-town in my eyes.

No I am not.
To the best of my knowledge I am a protagonist and if someone can do some action that shows I am mistaken then I will go into the abyss knowing I did my best for the town even if I wasn't one of them

That's some deep shit right there, and it went straight to my heart T_T

Stefl and MetalGear claim to be silenced. Two very different things.

I don't really harbour any suspicion of MetalGear now, since he's not Sephiroth. Really, he hasn't done anything remotely suspicious since day one.

Stefl, I'm not sure. I haven't really been paying attention to him.

MetalGear as a sibling to Golbez (Cecil) ...it's pretty solid evidence that he's town too, a dead town but town nonetheless.
