That is a great point.  A townie would have brought our doctor back to life immediately that night.  He was the only person dead at that point.  His 'confusion' would not have mattered because there was only one choice at that time.  I think that the only reason that he did it during the Day was because he was secretly bringing Nen-Suer back to life.

Remember what Nen-Suer said when he came back?  He said something about having to jump through a bunch of hoops to gain his 'ultimate' spell or whatever it was.  He thanked Kantor for killing him.  He had to die and be brought back to activate his power.  But how could he be brought back?  Someone on his team had the power to revive him.  That's how.

Sorry I been absent everyone.  The dog ate some raisins on Friday night, and we had to make an emergency trip to the vet.  I spent the weekend taking care of the dog (she lived, thank God).  We have had people from out of town in for training at work, and we have been taking them out to dinner on the company's dime at night the past two nights.  Tomorrow will be the last night of that.

Okay, let me take the main points in order: 

1.  Mafia reviver.  I know we have had some crazy roles, but mafia reviver.  Seriously.  I mean, you're suggesting that I, a mafia, had the power to bring my fellow mafia back to life, and for some reason I felt the need to TELL YOU ALL THAT I WAS GOING TO DO IT.  What.  The.  Fuck. 

2.  Rushed unnecessary roleclaim.  I don't think it was rushed at all.  After today, I have completely spent my abilities.  Why NOT roleclaim?  I'm useless now except I might draw the attention of the mafia off of other people, which is good.  (@ mafia:  can you trust me that I'm useless now? hahaha)  I also planned to roleclaim to get people's opinions on whether I should do the random revive, but then I thought I could revive whoever I wanted, but I still wanted to tell you so you would be amazed at my awesomeness and trust me.  I mean seriously, imagine it.  I say "I'm reviving the super-doctor now" and it happens ... I'm golden.  I'd be as innocent as a dead innocent guy you can see on the scoreboard. 

I have no regrets in my making my roleclaim; I regret only that I was confused about whether it was random and the fact that I FORGOT to ask radish to cure me yesterday. 

3.  Feeling you out?  What?  The only time I was feeling people out was when I asked for fucking VOTES on whether I should risk reviving Sephiroth for the chance to revive Hephaestos.  And again, your theory that I'm a mafia reviver just plain makes not one damn bit of sense when you stop to think about it.  WHY WOULD I ANNOUNCE MY ABILITY TO REVIVE SOMEONE IF I WAS MAFIA AND KNEW I WAS GOING TO REVIVE SEPHIROTH?

Also, I'm the one who stopped last night's kill.  No one else has come up with another explanation of how that could have happened IIRC. 

All I can say to this is that to the best of my knowledge and based on my role PM I am in fact a protagonist.  If I'm actually evil, EVEN I don't know about it.  There have been some crazy roles in this game, but THAT crazy?  I think not. 
I know Homer's investigation looks bad for me, but again, I have not been informed that I'm a miller or anything so I can only conclude that he got diverted to someone else or is lying.  I'm not sure which one I'm leaning towards. 

I didn't do it because I wanted to be all dramatic and shit, as detailed above.  Keep in mind that I KNEW I was blocking the mafia kill that night. 

If I had it to do over again, of course I'd do it differently.  But that doesn't change the fact that I'd be insane to act as I did if I was mafia, and if I'm not mafia, my actions are, if not perfectly wise, not insane. 

Now please someone unvote me because I'm feeling as if I could get hammered any second now.

At the beginning of this Day, you thought that your ability was random.  Why didn't you use it last night when there was only one person dead?

Why so worried about us trusting you?  Someone who had the best interests of the town in mind would have taken the 100% chance of bringing back the doctor last Night instead of waiting until Today.  Instead, your story is that you waited until the Day so you could earn our trust?  The only reason for you to be that concerned with earning the town's trust is because you are scum.
