Well, IIRC, that was a lot later.  A LOT happened in between when Kantor blindly followed hatmoza and when Kantor was strongly questioning hatmoza and unvoted me.

To begin with, he made up a condition. An SK who casts Doom? Really? I didn't believe that for a second. He and nen-suer topped my Sephiroth suspect list. Oh, how convenient that his doom kills him just as we hit Day 4 (note how he was uncertain on the date of his death. Was Day 3 Day 2?). I agree about the doom thing, but he left himself an out. He said it could be slowed, and on top of that several people even said that even if gow made it to day 5 it wouldn't prove anything..

But yeah, why would gow and not mg94 receive the message of linking?

I have an idea about linking.

There is a set of twin roles called Lovers or alternatively Siblings.

Summary

Siblings are roles that know each each other's alignment, and die when any of the other siblings die. The classic Siblings roles are a Goon and a Cop who know each other, with the condition that if one dies, the other commits suicide the following night.

Variations

  • The Siblings may talk at night.
  • The Siblings suffer some other fate if the other dies.
  • The Siblings do not know each other's alignments (in this case they are called Lovers). If a Lover is a member of the Mafia, they are commonly called a Treacherous Lover.

Die when any of the other siblings die. Sounds like what GOW said. It could well be that one is pro-Town (I would wager GoW) and one is anti-Town (probably MG94)

The thing is, silencing is pretty ineffective. It doesn't stop night actions. Silence a cop, he'll still uncover you. Silence a doctor, he'll still protect the cop. And so on.

IT'S VERY EFFECTIVE!

Did you read the rest of that paragraph? Silencing is killing, but the person can still perform night actions. Yes, it's bad. But it's not as bad as dying.

Also, I wouldn't put Homer being scum as proof GoW3ever is town. He could easily be throwing Homer under the bus (since people already had suspicions about Homer yesterday) to make himself look good.

I'm not arguing that, I'm saying, that just now, when kantor was going over his thought process, he completely left out pretty much an entire half of his "thought process" to explain his vote to hatmoza when being accused of bandwagoning, completely leaving out that he was bandwagoning to lynch a nearly confirmed townie Hatmoza! He tried to point out how logical he was being but left out how illogicla he was being. That caught my attention.

But anyway this is a closed issue, kantor said he was being "stupid" (not my words), so I'll take that for now. He dies anyway, so it's pointless to argue the issue.
