Ok so it was GOW who claimed to kill Sephiroth, not FF??? I could have sworn I read somewhere that he claimed to kill Sephiroth ... If not, our lynch candidates for the day are Kantor and GoW.

And it's up to us to find the liar.

And honestly, I'm under so much pressure for Neurobiology test in 20 minutes that my mind isn't capable of weeding out the liar.

I am praying that the silencer is pro town.  If he's mafia then it's just ridiculous because they already are a powerful voting bloc and making themselves more powerful in that way very fast. 

On the other hand, they haven't had much success in killing and the silencer hasn't come forward which a protown might be expected to do. 

Maybe the silencer is the SK?  theRepublic claims there is an SK, but he hasn't killed anyone yet.  My ability last night specifically blocked the mafia (therefore, I presume, not the SK).  Maybe they just have a choice between silence and kill and have been choosing silence all the time. 

The flavored text confirms there was a poisoning, and that's the only reason I'm kind of sure he's telling the truth ... which leaves the "lying sack of shit " GoW. He already admitted to lying once. Pro town or not, the mafia motto is: "lynch all liars".

I think we are over analyzing this day way to much.

or maybe the mafia doesn't even kill ... maybe sephiroth was the SK (murderer) and the mafia simply silence people.

In my opinion, someone silenced is just the same as them dead, except they are active.

I'm not entirely convinced that GOW and I are the only two lynch candidates. For all we know, somebody could have prevented GoW from killing Seph without his knowing.

That said, I don't fully trust him.

To begin with, he made up a condition. An SK who casts Doom? Really? I didn't believe that for a second. He and nen-suer topped my Sephiroth suspect list. Oh, how convenient that his doom kills him just as we hit Day 4 (note how he was uncertain on the date of his death. Was Day 3 Day 2?). But his desire to see a no lynch, and the passion with which he argued that, convinced me otherwise. He might try to be the voice of reason to seem like a townie, but he wouldn't be that zealous in doing so. And clearly, he isn't Sephiroth.

That's very possible. I really don't know what to think. I thought GoW was TOO GUILTY to actually be guilty, but I could be very wrong. I trust your instincts.

That actually makes a lot of sense. Sephiroth is now dead (and hopefully will remain that way while we get Heph back), so if nobody dies tonight, that will be a clue.

The thing is, silencing is pretty ineffective. It doesn't stop night actions. Silence a cop, he'll still uncover you. Silence a doctor, he'll still protect the cop. And so on.
